The important thing is to always focus on the good and positive work we do. If someone says they can't do that, they are not making "an honest accounting".
As far as what we see as our objectives and goals, or even bare necessities (such as Chitas), we can never give up. Only work harder and smarter with G-dly imagination to achieve even beyond our natural means, till we become 'new matter'... Gut yom tov to all, Moshiach now!!!
